2024 Purdue PAER Ag Economics Report – Land Values & Cash Rents
The annual 2024 farmland values & cash rents survey report from Purdue University hit the
news wire today. Highly regarded as a valuable resource for all farmers, agriculture professionals, lenders and farmland owners, the 2024 PAER report reveals that land values in Indiana have reached record highs. While the report is not a direct correlation to the value of your own farmland, Purdue’s report should be considered a valuable tool in the toolbox for analyzing production costs and how to improve returns.
In years past we have been fortunate enough to sit down with Craig Dobbins, former author and Ag economist of the PAER report. In other times of the year we’ve visited with David Widmar of Agricultural Economic Insights (AEI.ag) and continue to look forward to sharing additional insights in an upcoming full review of the many factors that affect farmland real estate values and cash rent rates.
In the meantime, we welcome your comments below and encourage to send us your questions on the hot topic of farm real estate. Stay tuned and subscribe to for the latest news.
