Overall, the average price of farmland in our sampled data report from January – December of 2024 was $16,000/acre and the average price per productivity index point was $184.37 based on the below sampled data. It is important to note that in 2024 there have been farmland sales as high as $17,452 per acre.

Among Indiana’s 92 counties, Tippecanoe ranks 15th for the total acreage currently on the market. The city of Lafayette leads the county in the number of land listings. Covering 503 square miles, Tippecanoe is the 13th largest county in the state and is located in west central Indiana.
